Sunsets at Rockbeare Manor, a country house wedding venue a few minutes from my home in East Devon are exceptional and as a wedding photographer you sleep with your fingers crossed the night before in the hope to be blessed with one. The views from the house are stunning - Devon hills layering off into the distance with poplars framing the picture. We did have some rain as is typical of an English Summer wedding so took the opportuntity to spend a few minutes using the sumptous interior for some portraits. And we still got to run out and enjoy a stunning golden hour. Such a chilled and so very pretty wedding - Alice looked sensational in a incredible lace gown from Grace Loves Lace and her Groom Rich was the quintessential English Gentleman. The simple white and green styling throughout especially the lace covered frame around the ceremony was just sooooo pretty. We're so fortunate to be recommended by the lovely Aimée and Andy, owners of this stunning venue only 5 minutes from our home in Whimple. I loved being able to capture the day in a way comes naturally - discreetly, observing all the interactions, the characters, the banter, the details, the human moments - all as it genuinely unravelled - bliss.
